I build agentic AI systems that hold up in production, and help developers do the same.
Most AI work stops at the demo. I work on what comes after: agents that stay reliable with real data, at scale. Day to day that means MCP servers, multi-agent orchestration, context engineering and evals. I lead Developer Advocacy for Google Cloud across India, Southeast Asia, Japan and Greater China. Before that I spent 20 years building systems that had to work, at SAP, Apigee and Google Pay. I speak from what I've built, not what I've only read.

Principal Architect → Tech Lead / Manager → Solutions Architect2015 to 2019- Joined Apigee pre-acquisition; designed and built the OpenBank API Solution for PSD2.
- Led API solution teams across retail, health (FHIR), identity and GSMA Mobile Connect; built Apigee Voice Kits.
- Advised banks, telcos and enterprises across APAC on API programs, cloud and Kubernetes/Anthos.
SAP Labs India · SAP BusinessObjects · TCS
Developer → Associate Architect2004 to 2015- The only Indian architect on SAP's India–Germany Architecture Council; moved teams from client-server ABAP to Node.js and AngularJS.
- Founded an engineering learning forum that grew org-wide and outlasted my tenure. Trainer of the Year.
- Built the ABAP New Package Builder (SE21) and integration frameworks across SAP PLM.

Detects traffic bottlenecks from maps data before jams form. Built with a local NGO and adopted by the city traffic authority.
Voice-based exam assistant
Reads printed question papers aloud and transcribes spoken answers, so visually impaired students can sit standard written exams independently.
Federated education platform
API design, schemas and protocols connecting schools to a central non-profit education board in Australia. Built to proof of concept.
Startup mentoring
Technical mentor at Google for Startups, Startup School, accelerators and AI hackathons, mostly with edtech, healthcare and social impact teams.
